At Mind and Move, we believe that nurturing a healthy mind, body, and soul in early childhood is the cornerstone of lifelong well-being. Our qualified children's fitness instructors and educators have over 15 years of experience working alongside children in an Early Childhood setting. We are dedicated to providing children aged 0-12 years with the knowledge, understanding, and skills to lead healthy, safe, and active lives.
Our comprehensive program is designed to educate children about healthy habits that can last a lifetime. We closely align with the National Quality Framework (NQF), encompassing all seven Quality Areas of the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the five Outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework. In addition, we integrate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education and the Munch & Move program, ensuring a holistic and enriching learning experience.
The Munch & Move program is a NSW Health initiative that supports the healthy development of children from birth to five years by promoting physical activity, healthy eating, and reduced screen time. We incorporate this program into our daily activities, helping children develop healthy habits early on.
Fundamental movement skills (FMS) are the basic building blocks of movement, including running, jumping, throwing, catching, and balancing. Our program focuses on these essential skills, forming a foundation for more complex physical activities and sports.
We offer a variety of engaging, play-based activities that are age-appropriate and enjoyable. Our Mind and Move programs are filled with open-ended interactions and learning opportunities. We incorporate music, movement, fitness, structured group times, and overall well-being programs to create a fun and dynamic environment for children.
Building a strong partnership between parents, children, and educators.
